About the event
Why attend a workshop on crafting comedy out of serious stuff?
The writer Mark Twain remarked “Humor equals tragedy plus time.”
People have been crafting comedy out of serious material for ever. This workshop is a rare chance to get creative, let your hair down a little and find the funny in this pilot workshop's topic of 'Climate Change.'
If your recycling bin or a plastic bottle could talk: what might it say regarding climate change, you, or its life in general? Creating a character from an inanimate object is just one of the fun activities we explore in this specialist comedy workshop.
Aims:
Get people engaged in crafting humour from specific areas like recycle, reuse, reduce.
