Comedy Matters in...
Education

'A dose of laughter in a classroom can improve the learning process.'

Maggie delivers in-person and online seminars on the value of using humour in the teaching profession – both for teacher-student relationships and for supporting mental health.

Teachers are introduced to the value of using appropriate humour – humour that is sometimes empathetic, sometimes cathartic but humour that ultimately bonds people.

Her safe and supportive - yet highly dynamic workshops - teach trainees various comedy techniques and highlight the value of humour, along with how to use comedy to tackle stress.

Maggie is helping to develop future comedians, performers and leaders, through her teaching.

Testimonials:

“Really enjoyed watching people work and the variety of approaches.”

“Intimate, comfortable and non-threatening.”
