Maggie's research and performance work took her to Edinburgh Festival, The Tate Modern London, The Manchester Art Gallery, women’s groups and cities in the South.

She champions new modes of clowning for the twenty first century, which includes merging ridiculousness, openness and vulnerability with the masks of femininity.

Women can often be a little mad and grotesque when introduced to clowning and these elements can often be embraced in performance. It is very liberating and provides an opportunity to ‘let go’ and feel free from social norms.

She facilitates clowning classes for women + and mixed gender classes – both online and in person.

Directing performance is also a strength. Get in touch.
