Divine Comedy!

Hats off to this bunch of fab funny women who hit the chancel in the church (Newton St. Cyres), rocked the pews and raised a whole lot of money for the charity North Devon Against Domestic Abuse.
All eight had a wonderfully mixed audience of locals and visitors in stitches. With me at the helm as compère by me, the scene was set for some edgy jokes – and the women didn’t hold back.
There were plenty of laughs, the odd raised eyebrow but no divine intervention.
Huge thanks to everyone who came along and raised a massive £250. Great result for a great cause.
NEXT UP: POST CHRISTMAS COMEDY MASH UP.
SAFE – Stop Abuse For Everyone is the chosen charity for the next post-Christmas Mash Upon Sunday 27 December. Grab a ticket soon these shows have a habit of selling out.
NEED A PRESENT THAT DOESN’T INCLUDE SOCKS?
If you’re looking for a slightly different sort of Christmas present, why not gift someone (or yourself) a chilled-out comedy workshop. Shake off the turkey, tinsel, forced jollity and Christmas relatives.
Sunday 27 December, 2-4pm.
Two hours of fun, laughter and comedy tricks in a relaxed setting – with no pressure to be funny.
Huge thanks to:
