ARE YOU HOT?

It’s hot here. Real hot. Hotter than the hinges on the door of Hades!

I was asked to scoot out of the ocean as a shark fin was in the vicinity. Two minutes later, the fin floated by – shark attached. And then a dinosaur-like pelican ploughed into the water to scoop out a big fat fish.

I came back from the beautiful ocean with a fiery glow (note to self: slather on WAY more sun cream) – to a swish Florida pad (yes, you’ve guessed it – I’m on holiday in the USA). What a day. This place isn’t just Disney (not my thing) there’s some beautiful wildlife and greenery galore. Haven’t seen any red baseball caps or any orange-faced fellas - yet.

It’s good to get away - to see family and experience a different culture; have seen on TV regularly, but never in person. I’m looking out for the funnies and the many alligators that are wandering around…

Comedy writing and performing is about scribing prolifically, editing and scrapping a lot of words. If you’re interested in this art form, look around today, and note anything incongruous or just plain simple, and comment. It’s good practice.
