Spring is springing out all over

New Beginnings...
Just followed a seagull purposefully carrying a mouthful of dried grass—clearly nest building. Making ready for the arrival of baby chip-butty eaters of Exmouth. Filling up on plenty of carbs and fat, ready to 'offload later' on some poor unsuspecting target. They say it's lucky...
People are planting their carrots; the sun’s now staying up till 8pm (shiny stop out), and the daffodils… well… mine are very much dead.
Six weeks in—and boom: two standout showcases. Fresh material, big risks, and a group of comedians giving birth to bold, original voices and absolutely owning the room.
For some, it’s a life-changer—as one person put it. Watching people go from fear to fearlessness? Brilliant. Bravo to every single one of them.
George summed it up perfectly: “The supportive nature and encouragement to write without the pressure to be good or funny.” That’s where the growth and comedy confidence happens.
If you want to put a spring in your confidence and quieten that voice that keeps you playing small—come and have a go.
New courses start 27/28 April (Monday or Tuesday evenings). Tuesdays—just 3 spaces left. Mondays filling fast.
And if you’d like to see how comedy is made, come along to our Comedy Mash-Up on 30 April—a genuinely fun (and funny) night.
As usual, a huge thanks for your support from Maggie and the team :)
Here's Dan's testimonial from the course, when asked how the course had helped him and all the good bits he enjoyed: (made me tear-up) …
"Excellent material, building techniques. Gave me the confidence to leave space and find my own voice. The people!! The confidence boost, and the fact it results in usable stuff!"
