And she's off!

I’ve been lighting a candle throughout January in memory of a very special young woman, who died too soon. She energised a room with her warmth and vivacity, and I wanted to somehow keep her radiant spirit alive prior to her funeral, which took place yesterday, the end of January. R.I.P. dearest Georgie.

Life is so unpredictable. I encourage people to try to find some joy every day. Comedian Ems Coombes calls it finding a golden egg – big or small. I often articulate what the best three things were about my day and go to sleep on a positive note. That’s before the disharmony of my vibrating respiratory structures become obstructed, AKA my snoring awakens me – and the entire street – I like to share!

This February, I am spending 29 days walking two miles per day to help raise funds for Women’s Refuge. Not quite hit my target amount of £150, so please donate if you can. Thanks in advance. Day 1 done, in beautiful Lincolnshire.

Come and build your skills on making mirth.

Lovely group. Determined to see more funny women.

Chance to perform a little too – do join us.

On an exciting note, I am now facilitating Team and Confidence building classes for businesses and organisations, from 4 people to 40+. If you’re interested, please get in touch. My latest testimonial from last weekend’s workshop, with a mix of daring, energetic, and slightly hesitant bunch, who ended up having a fab time – me too!

“Enjoyed the buzz of performing.” Was great to see others come out of their shell.” Mike.

“Really enjoyed all of it. Feedback to everyone was really useful, balanced and positive in what can be a vulnerable situation.” Claire.

Find the funny or even better, make someone smile today and tomorrow and tomorrow and the next day.

As usual, a huge thanks for your support from Maggie and the team :)
