A Pig, a Horse, and a Sea Breeze walk into a bar...

Over the last two weeks I have worked / networked with: Exmouth Pride, Organised comedians and performed at Bootleggers, at The Exeter Comedy Festival; took to the High Seas (well, the estuary) on a Stuart Line Cruise with The Exmouth Chamber; networking with added sea breeze and fine misty rain; mingled marvellously and made some new fab connections at The Samphire Club meet up, at The Pig at Coombe; visited Vranch House and experienced their therapeutic mechanical horse Magic (and it was); took one for the team and taste-tested food at The Ocean, (all in the noble preparation of the Exmouth Business Awards - 26 September), and attended my penultimate British Sign Language lesson.
Do I need a holiday? Yes. Am I taking one? Don’t be daft – the end-of-course stand up comedy showcase at Exeter City Gate is up next!
Why do I do all this? Because I love people. I want to know what makes you tick, what keeps you up at night, and whether you’re more of a starter or dessert person. Blame my Northern roots – I’ll happily chat to a lamp post if it looks lonely!
And tonight? I’m off to Small 99’s People Planet Pint at The Grapevine pub (saving the world one pint at a time) followed by a new material comedy night, because clearly, I like to test the boundaries of my own energy levels.
See you soon – either at a networking event, or (if geography gets in the way) in my online course this September.
As usual, a huge thanks for your support from Maggie and the team :)
