... learning how to be a stand up comedian? We all have the potential. Some of you might think “I’m not funny” or not be remotely interested in crafting and performing comedy. But whether you think you are funny or not, I can assure you, crafting comedy is a skill that can be developed. And it’s not just for the stage. Bringing positive humour into your life per se, can reap rewards, be that: Romantic dinners, board meetings, Powerpoint presentations, speeches, classrooms, hospitals and even the bedroom (be careful) – I have guffawed at trying to warm my chilled feet with a hairdryer, on occasion. DO NOT TRY THIS. Members of my recent comedy course are performing tonight, for the second time - they're all great and very different. A couple of the comedians have performed on other occasions – but It’s great to see them extending their skills. Come if you can. If you can’t, but want to learn how to write and perform comedy for every day life (and stage), I can help. Lots of laughs and maybe some unexpected humour.
