Seeing Red (and pink...)

Few people I know like Valentine’s Day – a time when lots of people apparently declare more love and admiration for their partner than their iPhone 15 Pro Max. The lead up to the Hallmark heart fest and discounted teddy bears, includes shops awash with all things red and pink, ooh and surprisingly some sexy black, too!

I love a heart – especially one that is beating! I adore a few tasty morsels and a table adorned with four candles... A gift of some sort is always appreciated – especially practical, like a new hammer, some WD 40 or cushions plumped on my sofa. My point is – treating everyday as an opportunity to show kindness and love, is my preference. And if you’re on your own – then gift yourself something you want (done this a few times!)

During my latest comedy course, there were some priceless and hilarious takes on this celebration when Cupid rules supreme. No one was a fan of this overtly romantic day for couples, unless the night had ‘legs’ to lead from singledom to coupledom!

Please share any funny tales about VD…

We have another fab line up for this month’s stand up comedy night EXETER COMEDY MASH-UP at The Citygate Hotel on Thursday 29 February.

There is also a rare chance to tap into your inner clown and let rip with  some daring clowning that pushes the boundaries.

Join me for a one day workshop on 2 March at Exeter Phoenix.

As usual, a huge thanks for your support from Maggie and the team :)
