Endings means it's ALL about the NEW...
2024 is drawing to a close. Endings…
It has been a year of endings, however, this often means new openings, new beginnings – new wrinkles!
I guess the comfort comes from looking back over the year and celebrating the good – meeting new people, seeing people in a comedy workshop initially full of fear, flourish into confident comedians, and of course spending quality time with those we love.
I like embracing new opportunities, ideas and adventures. Life is a huge one after all! One such venture coming up in early 2025, is a pilot workshop in Exmouth, using comedy, clowning and playfulness to tackle serious issues – particularly focused on Climate Change and all its challenges. For example, if your food recycling bin in your kitchen could talk – what would it have to say about its life, or you?
“Looks like she’s on another diet!”
Anyway, whatever sort of year you have had I hope you can look back with some fond remembrances.
A huge thanks and well done too, to all those who flexed their funny bones with me, and tried their hand at comedy, and then performed again, and sometimes again and again! No endings, only BOLD beginnings. Proud of you ALL!
Happy Christmas everyone, I hope you aren’t having to navigate the myriad of carbs – rice, pasta and spuds over the festivities like me. Though I might just sneak one cheeky roast potato in on Christmas day. Feeling the guilt already! Although I have heard that if you close your eyes whilst eating carbs – it doesn’t count.
As usual, a huge thanks for your support from Maggie and the team :)
