Happy New Cheer! Wow has this been a fortnight:
Ran a gig during Twixmas. Sold out! Then went off to play whist with my mother and others for five days.
This week, I ran my first women’s comedy group in Exeter. FAB-U-LOUS. Next women’s workshop on 5 February. COME. Bring a pal.
Two fab days this week, working at Marjon University.
Yesterday, I hosted an Exmouth Chamber of Commerce business breakfast – lovely people, and delicious poached eggs; prepped my lessons for next week; sent in proposals for festivals and conferences, unpacked a log delivery; scribed on Meta, and packed away duvets and pillows. Slapped a visitors’ parking permit on my son’s car just before the warden arrived.
I ate the most delicious mushroom soup and scones from the very fancy M&S; put the bins out, and thought I’d tap out my first newsletter for 2024.
Hope you are as fulfilled as I am. Have a jolly January. Off for a short power nap later, as part of my new intentions to stop rushing around at the rate of a meteor!
Oh, and just swam 50 lengths of the Exmouth LED Leisure pool!
If you fancy a comedy workshop for a fun event – Hen night, team build, team training, public speaking, etc, please get in touch. People love these!
Next comedy course is filling up fast. I love these events. Great for crafting a new gig or for building skills from scratch. And if you fancy stepping into some metaphorical clown shoes and unleashing some silliness, you can join me on 2 March at Exeter Phoenix.
As usual, a huge thanks for your support from Maggie and the team :)
